Triple Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

wp_20151020_15_38_56_rawI am still thinking about making my husband some treats for his big boys weekend. These have always been his favorite cookie that I make. I made up the recipe because of the fact whenever I would make any cookie, he would just say it needed more peanut butter. He doesn’t say that about these. 🙂

Triple Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Servings: Approximately 2 dozen large cookies

  • 1 cup softened Butter
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Peanut Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • salt to taste
  • 3-3 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Chips
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips


Beat the butter, brown sugar and peanut butter until fluffy and light in color. Add in the eggs, one at a time until mixed in well. Add the vanilla and baking soda. Mix in the flour. Fold in the chips. Heat oven to 365 and spoon or scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until edges of cookie or lightly browned and cookie is almost cooked through. This should take 8-12 minutes depending on your oven.

This dough sometimes needs a little extra liquid depending on the peanut butter that you use. I have found that the cheaper, store brand peanut butter is much dryer then Jif Or Skippy. Just add and extra egg or a splash of milk. When in doubt, bake a sample cookie!
